The Beer Hall Putsch was an attempt to overthrow the government and proved to be similiar to Mussolini's march on Rome, but the plan failed. As a result, Hitler and General Ludendorff were thrown in prison where Hitler wrote "Mein Kampf" which outlined the pillars of his political ideologies. The book shed some light on the future of Nazism, (antisemitism, anticommunism) and stressed the need to re-arm Germany as well as the superiority of the Aryan Race.
