Anti Semitism & the Holocaust
On November of 1938 a series of attacks against the Jewish residents of Germany, as their shops along with synagogues were ransacked. The event known as Kristallnacht or "Night of Broken Glass" was an event permitted by the state, and as a result a lots of Jews were thrown in prison. In response many of the remaining free Jews in Germany evacuated to faraway nations such as the United States. Hitler wanted to prove that the Aryan Race was clearly superior, and to show his values to the people, great numbers of Jewish people were sent to work camps. In July of 1941 Hitler issued "the final solution" and in his view the extermination of the Jewish Race had become a priority. During the course of the Holocaust over 6 million jews were killed.
